Start by understanding PHP here in Sololearn then you will see yourself designing the desired game of your choice, but if you have not learnt HTML and HTML5, forget about PHP and start with HTML and as for designing games, You will need HTML5 wrapped with other framework like Cordova, Angular JS etc. and see yourself making yourself a good game to play...
