Which programming languages will help me to go more into artificial intelligence

Over here in my university, our CS course introduces beginners to artificial intelligence through PROLOG. I got a nice 0/30 for that section though.

I think for AI, C++ will be the best pick. Python would come in 2nd. THey both have their own limitations.

Anyone will do, but python and c++ has nice libraries for it like tensorflow and caffe.
