How did you learn the basics of syntax starting out?

Just curious to see how different everyone’s way of learning the fundamentals and foundation of code is from one another. Maybe I or someone else reading could learn a thing or two from your experiences and workflow…also maybe stop a bad habit before it starts for some haha
