Career Switch
Hello everyone, I recently graduated in a hospitality and business management bachelor, so no coding or IT Background. I would like to become a Data Analyst/Scientist, what shall i start with? Do i need to have any specific certifications or courses since my school studies are not related to IT? Id like to stick to IT but Iâm a bit lost getting into this path. Please someone help me with it. Thank you.

Fahd Diab I've been in IT for a very long time and would suggest starting with the Google IT Support professional certificate available on Coursera:
https://www.coursera.org/professional-certificates/google-it-support
Then there are many paths to branch off into after completing that course.
And you may also want to start learning to code with the Coding Foundations course here on SL:
https://www.sololearn.com/learn/courses/coding-foundations
After you complete the Coding Foundations course I would suggest continuing with the Intro to Python and Intermediate Python courses because Python is used extensively in IT automation and AI.

Keith Hi Keith, thank you for the information, do I also need Power Bi and SQL to be a Data Analyst? What other certifications do you suggest to learn and mention on my CV.
