Unfair questions in Code Challenge Matches

In the Code Challenges, very often I get questions about material that I’ve never even heard about. How am I supposed to get the question right if I have no idea what it is doing? Is it supposed to be this way in order to encourage me to learn more?

Many code challenges questions are user submitted questions. For that matter, challenges does not care much for players' level, nor does it consider whether a subject had been covered. As the Challenges system doesn't seem to be connected with the Learn system, there's little to none a chance for the Challenges system to know how far a learner has progressed. The questions are most likely just from a random selection, with ordering shuffled some way. Don't worry, it's just a game, it doesn't judge you or anything. In the end you will see, it's merely a game of memorization - of the answers 8-)
