Why am I unable to unlock new lessons?

Aren't all courses free (as mentioned in the description in Play Store)
Or do we need to upgrade to Pro version to access??

The hearts should refill after a few hours.

You can complete all courses without the pro-subscription.
No need to do the extra pro code projects.

It's free for old accounts. But seems for new ones, they may be new approach.. Not totally free.. Check new update policy "get hearts to unlock". but Need not to be pro.
Am still not sure now, they are not implemented fully.. It's underway may be.. Hope Soon they will give conclusions..

I think you are meaning the button that is always displayed at the top when you start a new course. If so.

The courses are free just continue learning and the next lesson will he unlocked after you finish the previous one
