there are lot of free host offers (search on inyernet for "free hosting"), but usually they are quite limited... among wich limitation they don't offer the possibility to link a domain name (they provide a link related to their own domain) ^^

on the other side, free domain offers are very few: only some countries (with very few demands) offer their own extension to have your own domain... however, buy a domain name is usually not of a great cost, but is more like a rent: you need to pay it all years to keep the use of it, and most of paid host usually "offers" (bundled in the price) one or more domain name (for wich you can less or more choose the extension: .org, .com, .net, country code and so on...)
