Advertisement at 5 am from Sololearn app

Question

At 05:23 (UTC + 2), my smartphone made a sound and vibrated, notifying me that there were three new Python courses in Sololearn. Thanks for the notice, but sending it at such a time is not acceptable.

I only use Ukrainian IP-addresses and by them you could easily determine which time zone I am in.

I understand that there are 11 time zones in Russia and it is not always possible to determine by IP where a user from Russia is located. But in most countries, including Ukraine (this is the largest country in Europe), there is one time zone. Therefore, by IP you can find out from whom what time it is, at least approximately.

This is not the first time that Sololearn has received notifications late at night or early in the morning.

I sent such a message to Sololearn support through the "Leave feedback" menu in the application.

I want to ask other users: Are Sololearn's advertising notifications getting in the way at 5am?

I don't even get the nortifications 😑
Sometimes hardly I see notifications from SoloLearn

One thing you can do is to mute the nortifications

Go to settings -> Push Notifications

You may be able to modify what you receive
