You can't really compare PHP and JavaScript since PHP is a server side language and JavaScript is client sided.

If you learn pop you will be creating the stuff that happens behind websites. Database, and storing information, loading information etc. If you learn Javascript you will be creating user interface stuff mostly. It happens in the browser. You can still do database stuff, but mostly working with api. Both pay well, depends on what you enjoy, making thing happen when people click things in the browser (Javascript) or creating pages with different information and working with the information (php).

javascript and php are totally different things, can not be comparable with each other

It is true that both language is diffenrent .. syntaxwise , featurewise these two langauge is different but if you are using php , in most of case javascript need to build web application .. but if you are wish to build career in javascript then may not be require php .. some company pays well for javascript devloper

you can do the same in javascript and php in the server side if you use nodeJs for javascript but only javascript can be used in client side

depends on your skill level in using both languages. how good your knowledge is and how creative you can be in your development
