You can make games on Unity and Unreal. Download Unity 3d version 2020. Then you can start coding with tutorials. But if you want to code on Unity, you have to learn C#. If you learn this, you will code easily. Enjoy and have fun!

ok so you dont really just make an engine either. You can download Unity which i would personally recommend. but if you want to make one that will take a while. but i would stick with a premade game engine. search Unity Engine or Unreal Engine. both are free and professional

i dont hate unreal engine. but theres a few issues. i feel Epic prefers new features over fixing old ones and the UI looks like its from 2012. but the engine is really really powerful.
