instead, if you quit a challenge in the middle (you accept the challenge and decide not to continue) you have chances to lose it based on what the other answers.
when you get your result after the time to retake the challenge expires, instead of red x for wrong answer you'll have blank, but that will also be evaluated as wrong answer.
if the other has more right answers than you, you will lose the challenge
