Long way to go... I like solving problems and learning lots of new stuff. So that was my motivation to become a programmer. And that still motivates me 😊

Dont set your heart on game design. It's alot harder and more complex than program design. Programs require code and some basic graphics. Games require code, art, game engine knowlege, etc. its not impossible but its better if you focus on coding knowlege and apply it to everything instead of just games.

@Dr.roo It really depends on the kind of problem... and how easy it is to solve! I do admit there are times when a problem is just too much and I have walked away, but most I've been able to figure out by looking closer, checking a forum, or asking for help.

@Dr.roo it kind of depends on what you're using. For me, its easiest to stick with simplicity(like windows's icons), just using a few colors, but still being clear-cut, not sloppy. to go further, you might want to check out Adobe's products, or for something free, try Gimp.

@Dr. roo I honestly don't know of any...I guess I should... but you could Google something like "top 10 design forums" My dream job is to design the future at Apple, so eventually Id like to get my degree in graphic design. I'll look into it.

@Dr. roo you might want to check out Game Maker after tinkering with Scratch. Its an easy way to make games you can roll out as apps. its very interesting learning about how the graphics work.
