How can a person can develop software skills?

Question

According to me...I was not much better in skill....but now I am confident to say i have much knowledge about software....this confidence I build by using solo learn where it is the platform makes ous to build our skills.....just follow three steps: 1 learn and understand logical.
2 practice one code to many times (other forms..... thinking one program in multiple form)
3 Never lose it confidence just give on.
Like this I have gained by hard working about basic skills.sometimes I just get fail but I wont give up keep practicing and u defiantly own it.
