What is the different between head and header?

"head" is section of an HTML code that is first served to the requesting user-agent ( browser, bots). "header" is a top portion of a webpage where mostly logo and navigational links are placed.

simply we can say an HTML page has two sections-
1. head : not displayed on browser but used to define style, scripts and meta

2. body: displayed on browser and it contains the header, footer, paragraphs, sidebars etc.
