How to tell which code is authentic and which is the copy

I saw 2 codes today, parrot, each by 2 different coders, how call I tell which is the original and which has been copied. The names of the coders has been changed.

What I would do in this case is to check who posted the code first, if for example user 1 posted first than user 2 I know that user 2 copied, but we cannot be sure with that assumption so look up on Google if there's any tutorial of that code, if you find the code on internet they copied from internet

When you open someone's code, you should by clicking "more options" see an option "details", which should include the creation date of the code. The date you typically see before opening the code is rather about when the code was last modified. If the real author edited it 5 minutes ago, and copier copied it hour ago, it can give you wrong thinking.

I wish SL also included the creation time. If it was copied the same date that the original code was created it would make it harder to find out what the copy is.

When they posted isn't shown on Sololearn. Only the last update is posted which is often more recent when the original creator keeps improving his/her creation. I created: https://code.sololearn.com/WVhoMHzy3K81/#html I'm not sure if it was accidental or not but TOSIGNO Lekzy copied it here: https://code.sololearn.com/WHLAn0hb9IRP/#html My name is commented into the code quite obviously and since I made some improvements by adding other fractals later, it looks like my code is more recent. TOSIGNO has no other codes so might have just accidentally made a copy public without even knowing it. It is a pretty easy mistake to make for someone who doesn't use Sololearn much. I wanted to make clear who made it and get more people to see it so I also published a youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oTEzDDTsnU. That doesn't help much when the video was published after the other person copied, though.
