I am a Mechanical engineering student but I like programming more than any mechanical engineering subject and I am also good at Maths , Quant and Reasoning but when it comes to learning , I always get stuck in the middle . I want to get into IT industries as a programmer any tips for me where to start what to do and how to practice. Note > I have only 3 months .

1. I recommend you to learn VBA-microsoft Access, It has good readability, so I think it helps you to learn programming. Always search in Google if you have any Idea but you don't know how to realize that. Example: VBA Access How to read user file 2. and when you try make something, you feel boring but it is still not done yet, I doing my other hobby like playing game or you can go outside to refresh your mind then try again to continue the 'project'/codes

well in that case you may want to look at entry level positions in IT that require no formal qualifications. Seems a waste of your degree though. If I were you I would look for something in mechanical engineering for now and take up programming as a hobby. You will need more than 3 months to become employable as a programmer solely. Working in the field of mechanical engineering should provide many chances for you to apply your hobby to your work until you gain enough experience to change careers. later many employers would value your work experience in any mechanical engineering field
