What are the difference between mysql and mysqli?

PDO is same like MYSQLi to executing sql queries but the difference between Mysqli and PDO is that PDO supports all DBMS, also it takes care of a lot of security .... I suggest u to read more about it ( it's better).

btw mysql is already removed in current php version, so the only choice is mysqli and PDO
