Will Javascript eventually take over as The Dominant programming language?

It is said that everything that can be written in Javascript will eventually be written in Javascript. With the invention of Node.js and the ability to run Javascript on a server and on mobile devices with React Native, will Javascript eventually take over everything?

Nothing of that sort would happen ever.all the big companies still use c and c++ to write their compilers and other major code.javascript I presume,is for visualization of content and nothing like hardcore stuff like C does.

JavaScript is the most popular language for web development, but it’s very common for it to be coupled with other languages. Even with node.js there are still many other languages with healthy eco-systems and continual growth. PHP is a good example of such a language where the community really makes the language what it is, I doubt WordPress and other CMS:es will go anywhere soon. And of course there are more powerful languages that simply do things that JavaScript cannot. The popularity for JavaScript largely comes from the fact that it’s THE language for front-end interaction, PHP, C#, C++, Python etc simple does not offer tight-coupling with the browser and therefor no interactions once your application has loaded.
