Well, an app of that kind can't be made by only one language. You need front end and back end both. So, learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript (at least one framework angular, react or vue) with PHP/ Node.js and SQL and also java/kotlin will be very helpful in case of android apps.

Well, discord was made using Electron, a software framework, with HTML/CSS/Javascript. Probably learn those 3 languages.
