Depends...

Some people do get rewarded with it and some don't.

I do believe programming is our future though, so it is a great idea to get into it now.

It might be tensing b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ d̶e̶b̶u̶g̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ but the process is rewarding.
