Is learning new languages advisable before the start of college in computer science?

Or is waiting a while a better choise? Are pre-concepts that you have about programming harmful before university? Let me know your thoughs😁

Tomer Sim on the other hand I've interviewed Masters/PhD graduates who are just really bad at coding, or at least worse than me, and I didn't study CS, I learned from online resources

It depends. If you are a fast concept-grabber, then you'll be fine either way. That's how it was for me.

Just think, the coders who built all the stuff in the 90s were probably those who tinkered with computers as a child, waaaay before uni/college. Any time is the best time to learn coding :)

it won't really help you because learning online is quite different than learning in a university. you'll get much more detail about everything there unlike online learning.
