Poner imagen html

Al poner un hipervinculo, se copia la url en href, pero a la hora de imagen, Âżtengo que poner el nombre de la imagen.jpg pero debo de tener la imagen guardada en ordenador o se puede poner tambien de internet por ejemplo? #NOOB
