How to work with API?

Is it possible to use other websites APIs ?
if yes than can anyone please tell me how can i use an external API in my website?

Many apis will only work with one specific language, some may support many languages. Efficiency is not very important usually (otherwise everybody would use C/C++) so just use the language you know best if you can

Meanwhile there are many different apis form websites. For example soundcloud or telegram. Usually you will find a tutorial or a manual on their web page, where you can learn to use the api.
