languages can't be compared that which is best .... it's just that which language is in trend now a days eg:earlier Java was on the top trendy language for desktop and website applications development but now it has been replaced by Python Python is at no. 1 according to IEEE standards from year 2017...

First Of All HTML is not a programming language. And second it depends on use if u are entering in programming world then I would highly recommend C,C++ bcz it will give you more deeper concepts of programming..
