Is it better to learn to code from a website, book, or to learn from looking at other code?

For any begginer, looking at others codes doesn't make sense to anyone. You will not get anything out of it. Learn from websites and books. Have a understanding of the basic concepts of any programming language. Try to practice what you learnt recently in your way or by some exercise.
Try to implement the concepts anywhere possible. Try to work on small projects.
