How many html types do we have?
Came through with html 5 and html 4 do we have other htmls like: html 3, html 2, and html 1 or html 6, html 7 and html 8?

Like other virtual languages, HTML evolves through time. Yes, we've had HTML 1, 2, 3 and 4. The latest and current HTML release is 5.2 which imo should be used over others as it is more compliant with modern standards. Note also that it would require many years for an upcoming version to be released so there is no HTML 6, 7 or 8 yet.

KINGDX has a good answer but I'd just like to state that HTML 1-5 aren't types, there versions.
