Yes absolutely, I am a Php developer and I have been using Laravel regularly. It's one of the best php frameworks out there. It has almost everything you need for a day to day work starting from templating, auth, security, orm, migrations, relations, event system, task scheduler, console command generator to name a few. If something is missing u can always composer require a package. Long live Laravel. :)
