For 2018, which languages are the most relevant?

It depends on what do you want to do:

If working with web pages:
- HTML, CSS is minimum
- XML, DHTML, PHP is nice to know

If coding applications (also for web):
- JAVA
- SQL (for databases and abillity to create API)

If coding application for industry, automatization,...:
- C, C++, JAVA and special programming languages for PLC...
