Whats better? Indica or Sativa? It all depends on what you plan on doing. web related (Javascript) games (c++ and or java) apps (java) software for desktops (c++, c, c#) pick your poison back to weed. Sativa during the day indica at night I would also recommend Python for beginners

Not sure if you should use Java for games though. Minecraft was coded in Java and it's famous for its horrible performance. For game development you should rather look into C++, or into C# if you want to work with Unity. Languages not mentioned yet: Kotlin might substitute Java in terms of Android development. Python is a very simple yet powerful language especially used for scientific applications but also used for scripts e.g. in web development. R is very famous for data science. So in the end people like to use different languages for different things. If you haven't learned any languages yet: In my opinion C++ is a good start. It might be more challenging than Python, but you'll also learn more.

He just said literally everything. So all I have to add is that C# is used on the game engine Unity which helps create realistic 3D and 2d games and animations. You should really check it out but Tim Millar is correct.

If you want to be a web developer, learn Html, CSS, JavaScript. If you want to learn general application development, in my opinion, Python and Java are the best.
