you probably have fear because you don't understand it and that is difficult to you, but just keep practicing and everything will be good...

always try to practice what you learn, start it by doing simple questions then increase the difficulty level when you feel confident. try to solve different challenging questions available on the net. just remember you dont need to run with this, learn slowly but learn perfect.

I recommend you to practice and do a lot of challenges. Don't fear mistakes learn from it and try to understand the codes, the main reason of your fear is probably because you're afraid of failure and you do not understand well enough. You can find a friend who will learn with you or someone that knows how to code to teach you. Wish you luck!

Whatever new thing someone starts to learn the first time, it is quite scary naturally. This is normal and caused by the uncertainty of knowledge and experience on the field of that study. You have to keep practising and studying till the point when you gain some basic stabil knowledge and feel more confident in the topic. Then you can consider if it is for you or not. But i bet if you will be there you will love it as much you keep continue to mastering programming because it is a nice and interesting profession or hobby :) Think about playing a piano: It is a bit scary and difficult at the first time to find the right keys and play advanced pieces. Nobody was born the way that they had this knowledge from the beginning. But then you listening to advanced players, you feel motivated by them and practise more and more. After a while you will play as good that you dare to show it to your friends as well. Finally it will be impossible to make you get away from the piano. Programming is very similar to this.
