I want to learn Artificial Intelligence. What should I learn first? And what are the basics of AI?

Learn statistics and use any language that supports statistics.
AI is basically a constantly updating statistical model.
e.g.
If you want the computer to understand that someone said no, it is similar but not the same as teaching a child.
Basically you analyze a bunch of audio files with no recorded, then create a program to look for that pattern, then feed it some “no” and “not no” audio files and correct it when it makes a mistake so it can update its statistical input.
