Haha I remember asking myself this once when I first started programming. Sadly, unless you're a graphics programmer, testing memory-intensive applications, or any other, most computers, if not all, will suffice. Ofcourse, still get a good one.
Who doesn't want a multi-core processor with dedicated graphics memory and SSD laptop. Oh with better heat mitigation too. A better internet connection for your web skills, and of course, not old enough that you start seeing the "no longer supported" messages or it lags
I can even program in my old windows xp desktop, which I turned into Linux Mint
