EDIT: Revised first 2 paragraphs to emphasize being on the safe side. @Donald... Based on the information below, I think you should be okay with that temperature for brief amount of time. However, like @Harsh pointed out, 80 ÂșC is on the more extreme side of the range. So, extended exposure could be a problem. At least that's how I would approach it. 😉 Ultimately, it might depend on your specific SD Card model and brand. I suspect most are targeting the same temperature range. For Example: ----------------------- SanDisk SD, SDHC, microSD and microSDHC memory cards are capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -13ÂșF to 185ÂșF (-25ÂșC to 85 ÂșC). ---------- Reference Link: - https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4687/~/sandisk-cards-environmental-tolerance-%28waterproof%2C-temperature%2C-magnetic-and That said, this temperature range may not be suitable for older Raspberry Pi models, as indicated by the Raspberry Pi FAQ: ----------------------- 8. WHAT IS ITS OPERATING TEMPERATURE? The Raspberry Pi is built from commercial chips which are qualified to different temperature ranges; the LAN9514 (LAN9512 on older models with 2 USB ports) is specified by the manufacturers as being qualified from 0°C to 70°C, while the SoC is qualified from -40°C to 85°C. You may well find that the board will work outside those temperatures, but we’re not qualifying the board itself to these extremes. ---------- Reference Link: - https://www.raspberrypi.org/help/faqs/#performanceOperatingTemperature

SD cards are limited to 85℃, so because of that I wouldn't recommend using it in such conditions.
