Will a professional Developer go for a StartUp not backed up by any fonds and also only for stock option?is it possible?

I am interested in doing the startup and I want to do it yet not sure whether shall I do everything myself in the start or At least find one partner from the start. Yet professionals do not will to work on a startup that is founded by pretty young person. And do not want to do it only for stock option in most cases.
So since my attempts to find the professional Developer not as resultative as I want. Therefore I will to know whether is it possible or not?? Thank You for Your Answers))😊

Jamie thank you for answer. Yet the problem is that. no one wants to do it as a full time. But the problem is Startup is like a child before growth it takes everything from you.
