My code has been public for so long and i haven't gotten a single view. Is there something I'm missing?

I built a random quote machine and made it public yet not one view! is there something more to making ones code public.

Nope, you could spam your code in specific threads or just wait until someone notice your existence. Generally speaking, if you are active in the Q&A, you get some followers and upvotes in your codes.

I remember my early days in SL. I also came up with a similar code, and it wasn't until few months later when I participated enough in Q&A that it got noticed. That is the idea, as has been pointed out by @Maz. https://code.sololearn.com/cjhJK0U5863l/?ref=app

Think about the frequency of code postings. If you post a code and never revisit it, it will rapidly fall down the list and become lost very quickly. One thing I do is every so often just go to the code and click save bringing it back to the top of the list. Another way is to make constant updates. I made about 30 or more updates to my Color game code. Look at the trending and most popular codes. These are the types of codes Sololearners like to see (games and animations seem to do well). And like maz and hatsy have mentioned, post your code in relative threads. It's all about exposure â˜ș https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/870114/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/830853/?ref=app
