Swift vs Objective C?

Which one is better? Swift and Objective are some what in a sense the same. Which one do most people prefer? What one is easiest in terms of iOS and Android software?

Swift only words for making IOS apps but the main advantage is that it's a very new language and it's constantly being updated. Apples is promoting developers to shift toward Swift so it would make sense to learn it as it will probably e useful in the future.

Alright. I guess Objective C is very old, but does help make iOS applications but Swift is newer and could allow more value

Depends on which APIs you're aiming to use. Some still don't have a "proper" swift version/equivalent and since more code's been written to using said API in ObjC, there's and abundance of questions and answers, bordering on esoteric in nature, about that API's ok implementation via ObjC. (core audio is always my go to example)
