As you can see, right now you're being distracted and spending time asking us "if there is a faster way to learn." So if you're here asking us that, what aren't you doing right now? You aren't studying, reading, or practicing the material you're seeking to learn. If your concern is speed of learning, then you need to take control over your time management. Instead of wasting time on distractions and things that don't matter, you should utilize that time toward your studies and progression.

Programming takes a lot of time and dedication toward it in order to become good at it. There is no dancing around that fact, and the reality is that most people will decide to quit before they even reach such a place of mastery.

So my advice to you is to turn off facebook, twitter, this discuss area, your phone, whatever it is that people get distracted with these days, and focus on your studies for now. There will be plenty of time to play around later. Push through some of the courses, decide what you enjoy most, decide what your goals are (dreams with deadlines), and get focused on what you need to do in order to bring that into your reality.

I prefer to read through the language fully once. Practice what I picked up on. Read through it again, this time taking notes of anything I don't understand. Fully research the things I didn't understand after I'm done reading through it again. Practice the things I didn't understand. Repeat the process until you master it.
