Suggestion for userNaming!
I've seen many people here with names that are very hard to read eg: There's a user with a space as his/her name another has cookies(đȘ) as the name while the rest are "emojis", though it's only a suggestion but I think we need a good rule for user naming on sololearn here. ...someone can even use another users name and avatar making it hard to find who's the real guy. ...a good example is the "github" naming rule. ...please dis-cover your opinions.

re: Duplicate names: I think the proverbial horse has already bolted on this one. I know of at least 3 other jay users who have registered here. Who gets to keep the name if they implement a unique name policy?
perhaps instead they could make our profile ID visible in the app so you can tell who is who?

For my part i think that everyone should use his real name. but you know somtimes WE need to use extra names for describing ourserlves and it depends on the imagination of everyone

I also think sololearn should put restrictions on changing your username, something lyk u can only change it at most once a month so people don't go on a "new name" spree

true. It is a great suggestion, don't get me wrong, I just wanted to point that particular issue out.
not sure if there already or not but I would suggest a swear filter on username creation/selection

very good @ImmortalđŒ, variableNaming is the best way

I've also thought of that. But I think sololearn just wants to make the app friendly. But there should be a limit to the amount of emojis and characters in a name.Completing disabling name emojis would affect people like me and immortalđđjust saying

I do not want to offend anybody but I would like the username to be restricted the wester latin character set.
It is really hard to quotte to a russian person if you do not have cryllic or chinese characters on your keyboard.
