Is it significant to learn vb.net in 2017??
I haven't had a use or desire for VB in years now. That doesn't speak for it, but it's not something I hear talk about anymore either. This is actually the longest convo I've had about it in awhile also. :D If you want something similar, learn C# .NET. C# is relevant right now, and you'll find some familiarity with the VS side of it and forms. With that being said, if you feel like learning it then nothing to stop you. If you find use in it then it's useful, know what I mean? VB is one of the first sets of langs I learned back in the day, so it'll always have a place in my heart, even if I don't use it anymore.
