Declined submissions

hey guys, who is actually moderating submissions? I'm really angry with these moderators. 1. they decline my submissions without any meaningful reply. I found some topics which were missing in the challenges. 2. only a day later I see almost the same questions in the rating. it almost seems that some moderators are stealing ideas and selling as their own. at least I demand a feedback I can work with. does anyone have similar experiences?

I am one of the quiz reviewers (not moderators). I give my opinion on each submitted quiz as a go or no-go. I have no option to add a comment and so I give my okay to quizzes which: 0. contain an actual question, a complete one and asked in proper English, Latin-alphabet only 1. contain no typos, including case sensitivity 2. have a working code with correct syntax 3. are not repetitive, duplicated or ridiculous 4. are not totally out-of-scope, do not contain an imprecise answer (Maybe, Sometimes, It depends) 5. the right answer *is* the right answer and is a correct, unambiguous answer (False is not the same as No and True is not the same as Yes) 6. guess the output has max 10 characters and is a whitespace-free string, no ambiguity about spaces, commas, inverted commas or quotes 7. fill in the blanks has less than 50% of code to fill in 8. are not too simple 9. are not too difficult 10. are original and not trivial in their approach That's just my personal criteria. However, I have no final word on this and the comments are added by Sololearn team who has the ultimate power to approve or reject.

I am not 100% sure but I believe Sololearn themselves are the ones who approve or decline said quiz submissions after they have been rated by the community. If you see similar questions waiting for approval it would probably be a safe assumption to say that you (and as an extension others) were not the first person to submit said question. You could always email Sololearn and suggest that more detail be included in their quiz rejection notification.

I would assume once the beta version goes live the scope of questions allowable would be expanded upon to include more advanced topics which may help alleviate this particular issue. As it apparently contains more advanced topics one can guess that this will be the case.

they got declined within a day and they were explicitly declined by the moderators. mailing them and all ask for more details would be an approach

@Kuba you forgot one thing. apparently the reason, why my submission got declined is just because it was out of scope of the sololearn courses. that is all I tried to dive only a bit deeper into some issue, which is not explicitly thought in the courses and hoped to give more insight. it was not a new module or such, just the usage of types

I keep you updated. the codes I resubmitted, they are still pending. so apparently they WERE on the edge between "ok" and "too much". I'm curious 😄
