BOT!!

Hi I have started learning python for almost 2 weeks now. Really love coding and python itself. I have mainly been gearing it towards data science however one of my goals would be to create a Bot to help me shop quicker. I have no idea where to start just yet but i was wondering if anyone could offer me some of advice on steps to take. Your help is much appreciated thank you

@Himansu -- Fluently coding automated/time&condition-responsive scripts took me almost a year from the very beginning. What you've said reminds me a lot about a program that a very close friend of mine created. He contracts for the US government when he's working, and at the same time - he built a program to analyze Live information & statistics within the stock-market and armed his program with the permissions that were necessary & required in order to have it actually buy and sell on its own, using predictive algorithms aimed at specific times within current, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly data recorded on whatever specific stocks were being exchanged. He makes (I believe) $20000 more, annually because of this.

There are several walkthrough videos on YouTube when it comes to programming bots. I can assure you that 2 weeks of experience won't be enough to help you understand the discussed concepts though. Step 1: master the basics of the language before you attempt anything difficult enough to damage your confidence and/or motivation.

Thank you! Yup still tackling the basics so that Iā€™m absolutely sure of it. Have you ever created a bot ?

@Himansu -- That would depend on what kind of specific bot you had in mind, as well as what purposes it might serve. I haven't yet worked with any legitimate AI as of yet, but I have written automated scripts to execute by themselves whenever certain events/conditions were met. The "bot/AI" field as a whole is massive to say the least.

Ideally to help me purchase items that sell out quickly on websites. There are existing bots for this which are very expensive to buy therefore Iā€™m happy to try and build one myself over time as a project. After how long did it take for you to get to that stage of being able to code automated scripts ?
