Did you mean prompt() in javascript/web context?
prompt() get a string to be displayed as argument (usually the question) with a text field, and return the value entered by user when validated (if canceled return null)...

Thanks: it's a pleasure to help others, transmit knowledge as I have taken benefits (and continue to) in other places... And it's pleasant to have these kind of return sometimes :)

no, code are compiled at Sololearn server, you have to input everything before code is sent back.

Gordon woh! the question has more than 2 years ;P
I think the OP was talking of the JS prompt() function... in web context, the limitation of input/output doesn't occur, as html/css/js is executed on client side ^^

visph i arrived this question because he asked some questions without attempt, and self-upvoted, i am checking whether he is aiming for some badge.
The user has not started JS course (progress bar zero), he mainly asked about question of C.
For "command prompt", he means "cmd.exe" of windows, he wants to use that in Sololearn code playground (the tag of this question), that's why i answered him "no, you can't"
