Does anyone help me on the subject of quotient and remainder? (from python)

Simply put, quotation is like "how many 'y' is there in an 'x', for example:

Here, 'x' is 9, and 'y' is 4;
9 // 4, how many 4s are there in a 9? there are two 4s in a 9.

Remainder, well, is what's left behind after a division, that is, if there's any left.

14 % 5, what's the remainder? we know 14 divided by 5 gives 2, with 4 left behind, because they're not enough to make another 5.

You have 10 brownies cookie, and wanna share them among 4 friends, how many cookies you have left after you share the cookies fair & evenly for your 4 friends? you have 2 cookies left, don't forget to give me one :)
