What branch of mathematics?

What branch/es of Mathematics can help in understanding and writing of code in any programming language, i ask because i intend to learn the maths i need to before touching coding.

Mayank Thakur Sadly in school, Mathematics was my weakest subject.

It helps much to understand the basics of algebra (especially algebraic structures such as boolean algebras, finite fields or groups), linear algebra, analysis and arithmetic. Also a fundamental knowledge about discrete mathematics and numerical analysis can be very helpful. The very basics of set theory also would be fine.

Mayank Thakur I’m not worried, i plan to start quite littereally from the beggining, at learning to count(even though counting isnt a problem for me), my ultimate goal on programming is learning, C, C++, C#, Objective C, Java, Python, and the programming language used to make iOS apps, after that my next ultimate goal is learning Physics and chemistry(moreso for personal knowledge gain, a better understanding of how things work in Space(Physics and Chemistry are very helpfull)
