Can anyone explain how the html,css,php,javascript are related?!!

Question

i am confused how they are related to each other. i know little about this. so anyone please explain me so that i can clear my doubts..

Your browser shows you HTML document, styled with CSS and runs JavaScript code attached to it, and that document was created by PHP script on a web server.

So, HTML is a markup language, that defines the document layout, text and other elements; CSS is a language, used to define styles for the elements used in the HTML document; JavaScript is a client-side scripting language — your browser executes it; PHP is a server side scripting language — the web server executes it, and the PHP code generates the HTML document sent to the client (browser).

More or less so. All this stuff also has other usages.
