basic concepts relatively fast compared to c languages. if you want to master it i.e. to do somethig useful with it, that would take time no matter what you learn.

It depends mostly on your previous programming experience. I started with learning Java few years ago, and then porting over to other languages happens really easily. To compare to our languages, different programming languages are basically just different dialects of the same language, that is logic. :P

So, if you have a strong experience in C#, Java or any of the more simpler languages, it'll be easy. But if you're coming from strong past of C and solely C, you might see difficulties.
