on the actual coding playground how do you play around and put codes together that work ?

I'm not 100% sure if I understand the question.
Are you asking how we know what to write?
If so, keep following the courses, pay close attention and try writing the examples in code playground.
Each keyword has it's own use, each function has it's own use. Put them together as you need them.
I don't randomly type stuff, get familiar with the syntax and understand the theory.
