Why can't I replace 2nd String?

The string array <nm1> appears to be the issue here. It was splitted by blank string, means it doesn't have "10", "11" and "12". Set a delimiter for splitting e,g. using a comma; to get a valid month index string array String nm = "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12"; ... String[] nm1 = nm.split( "," ); P.S.
