Why is (9**(1/2)) is equal's to 3.0?

i did 9x0.5 and it equal's to 4.5? I don't get it. Can anyone explain to me how does that work? Step by Step. ASAP

square root of 9 with other words.

Hi! if you elevate a number to a power less than one, this is equivalent to the fact that you extract a square root from the number. square root of nine will be 3. * is the multiplication operator * * is the exponentiation operator please take lesson 5.1 of the python course for beginners
