Google is using it to personalize search results that match your interest, Netflix is using it to recommend movies that you will surely like, banks use it to estimate if you will likely repay the debt what you're asking for.
The modern world is centered around data analysis. Companies who take advantage of it, become leaders, the others perish and disappear.
